They say resilience is the ability to recover from setbacks, and this week hasn't been short of a setback. It's in moments like this that I am thankful that I have experienced the feelings of disappointment, despair, and devastation in the past so I know the mental roadmap I need to take in order to bounce back from these setbacks.

To top this week off, as of 8am tomorrow, COVID-19 restrictions are now being reintroduced on the Gold Coast, which means our next Mental Fitness Event is postponed. We share this news with a heavy heart yet want to take this time to be thankful and show appreciation for all of you who have truely supported our cause. Since starting THE BE MORE PROJECT, many lessons have been learned, but the biggest of them all (so far) is captured perfectly in the picture below.

This weekend I will be connecting with my loved-ones, working out with my mates, getting back to the surf, eating delicious and nutritious food, and planning the next steps for THE BE MORE PROJECT. I encourage you all to do the same by simply remembering THE BE MORE concept of:

RECONNECT with passion, purpose, people

RECHARGE your body through movement and nutrition

RESET your mind through coping strategies
